Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
This September, I'm walking and raising funds to support people living with epilepsy, and their families.
Epilepsy is characterised by seizures caused by bursts of electrical energy in the brain. But the way this affects each person is unique. With your help, Epilepsy Ireland can provide support tailored to the needs of each person and family living with epilepsy.
Your support will ensure that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of Community Resource Officers. You will ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You will help fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.
I hope you can help me by making a donation. Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely and are received directly by Epilepsy Ireland.

100 Miles for Epilepsy Ireland 💜
Tuesday 25th AugThis September, I’m taking on the challenge of walking 100 miles to raise money for Epilepsy Ireland — an organisation that has become very close to my heart.
I was diagnosed with epilepsy in April this year, something that completely changed my life in ways I never expected. Experiencing seizures and coming to terms with a diagnosis has brought a lot of uncertainty, fear and adjustments to everyday life. It’s not something that only affects the person with the diagnosis either — my family, my partner and my friends have all been on this journey with me, supporting me through the difficult days, the worry and all the changes that come with epilepsy. 💜
While epilepsy is now a part of my life, I don’t want it to hold me back. This challenge is a small way for me to turn something that has been incredibly difficult into something positive, while raising awareness and supporting others who are living with epilepsy.
Epilepsy is a neurological condition that causes a tendency to have seizures. It can affect everyone differently and can have a huge impact on a person’s everyday life. Epilepsy Ireland provides vital support, information and advocacy for people living with epilepsy and their families, while also helping to raise awareness and support research.
So throughout September, I’ll be putting one foot in front of the other and aiming to complete 100 miles! 👟💜
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it would mean so much to me and will help support the incredible work of Epilepsy Ireland.💜
