This March, myself and my sister Michelle are raising funds to support people living with epilepsy, and their families. We will walk 100 miles each throughout the month of March.
Elsie was diagnosed with epilepsy at 2 years of age. She turns 10 at the end of March and we feel it is fitting time to do this challenge to mark this milestone. Elsie has had a few tough challenges with her epilepsy over the last year. She always shows great resilience and bravery despite hospital stays, medication changes and missing some parties with friends! Elsie loves life and is a joy to be around. Epilepsy Ireland support both us as parents and Elsie as a child navigating life with epilepsy, so we are delighted to help with this fundraiser.
With your help, Epilepsy Ireland can provide support tailored to the needs of each person and family living with epilepsy.
Your support will ensure that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of 11 Community Resource Officers. You will ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You will help fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.

Sunday 8th Mar Week 1 ✅ Myself and Michelle have completed 25 miles each this week, managing one long walk together. We are so grateful and blown away with the donations and support so far. Thank you all, the encouragement is keeping us on track. Elsie has joined me on a few occasions and is getting great satisfaction from her efforts. To all the offers of walking buddies we really appreciate it as it is a great opportunity to catch up whilst clocking up a few miles.Thank you to my Sponsors
