For My Sister, For Awareness, For Change.

March is an important month for me. On the 20th, I mark another year without my sister Aisha, who we lost to epilepsy. A condition that affects over 50 million people worldwide.

In her memory, and to honor her strength, I’ve created this fundraiser to raise awareness, to fund research, and to honor her memory in a way that creates change. Epilepsy is more than just seizures. It’s a condition that affects millions, yet it’s still surrounded by misunderstanding and stigma. Too many people, like my sister, don’t get the support or answers they deserve. 

March is also home to Purple day on the 26th, a global movement dedicated to epilepsy awareness. It’s a reminder of how important it is to talk about this condition, support those affected, and push for better understanding and treatment.
