Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

This March, I'm walking and raising funds to support people living with epilepsy, and their families.

Epilepsy is characterised by a discharge of electrical energy in the brain, but the way this affects each person is unique. With your help, Epilepsy Ireland can provide support tailored to the needs of each person and family living with epilepsy.

Your support will ensure that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of 11 Community Resource Officers. You will ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You will help fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.

I hope you can help me by making a donation. Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely and are received directly by Epilepsy Ireland.

💜 Ballybrack Social Group Takes on the March Walking Challenge for Epilepsy Ireland 💜
This March, the Ballybrack Social Group is lacing up their runners and stepping out with purpose as we take part in the March Walking Challenge in support of Epilepsy Ireland.
We are walking to raise funds and awareness for epilepsy — but most importantly, we are walking for our friend Sabrina, and for other valued members of our group who live with epilepsy every day.
Why We’re Walking
Epilepsy affects thousands of people and families across Ireland. It’s a condition that can bring daily challenges, uncertainty, and sometimes isolation. Through the incredible work of Epilepsy Ireland, individuals and families receive vital support services, education, advocacy, and community connection.
For us, this challenge is personal.
Sabrina is not just our friend — she’s a cherished member of our community. Her strength, positivity, and resilience inspire us all. By taking on this walking challenge, we want to stand beside her and show that she — and everyone living with epilepsy — is never walking alone.
Stepping Forward Together
Throughout the month of March, our group members will be clocking up steps, braving the Irish weather, and encouraging one another to keep going. Every kilometre walked represents:
Support for those living with epilepsy
Greater awareness of the condition
A stronger, more inclusive community
Hope for continued research and services
This isn’t just about fitness — it’s about friendship, solidarity, and making a real difference.
How You Can Help
We would love your support! Whether it’s:
Making a donation
Sharing our fundraiser
Joining us for a walk
Or simply spreading awareness
Every gesture counts.
Together, we can help Epilepsy Ireland continue their essential work while showing Sabrina and our other team members just how much they mean to us.
Let’s make this March a month of movement, compassion, and community. 💜
From all of us at the Ballybrack Social Group — thank you for supporting our steps towards a brighter future.
