Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I’m fundraising for Epilepsy Ireland to support the 45,000 people living with epilepsy in Ireland.
Epilepsy is caused by a discharge of electrical energy in the brain, but the way this affects each person is unique. With your help, Epilepsy Ireland can provide support tailored to the needs of each person and family living with epilepsy.
Your support will ensure that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of 11 Community Resource Officers. You will ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You will help fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.
I hope you can help me by making a donation. Simply click the Donate button above. All donations are processed securely and are received directly by Epilepsy Ireland.

Get to know my story….
Sunday 2nd MarHey, I’m Grace. In January 2023, my life changed forever when I had my first tonic-clonic seizure. Just two months later, a routine EEG revealed eight absence seizures. Words can’t fully capture how overwhelming and life-altering an epilepsy diagnosis is. The past two years have been incredibly tough, but I’ve made it through—and I’m here to share my story. Epilepsy Ireland has been a lifeline for me, offering invaluable support as I navigate this new reality and connecting me with others through their young adult monthly meetings. Now, I want to give back by raising funds for this amazing charity that’s helped me so much. Please consider donating whatever you can—it would mean the world to me and to those who rely on their support. Thank you! x
