Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. My name is Eva-Jane and I am an actor based in Dublin. In December of 2016 I had my first experiences with focal and tonic clonic seizures, in May of 2017 I was officially diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy at the age of 25.

This was a big shock and required some life adjustments, Epilepsy Ireland have always been a great source of support and information over the years. I really appreciate the work they do and am delighted to be able to show some gratitude via this fundraiser.

It's important to note that I understand these are trying times, the cost of living in Ireland is no joke, and there are various fundraisers on the go every day for worthy causes all over the world. With that in mind, I would like to stress that no donation is 'too small', everything is massively appreciated.

Epilepsy is characterised by a discharge of electrical energy in the brain, but the way this affects each person is unique. With your help, Epilepsy Ireland can provide support tailored to the needs of each person and family living with epilepsy.

Your support will ensure that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of 11 Community Resource Officers. You will ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You will help fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.
