About
What is the 45 for Epilepsy Challenge?
The goal of the 45 for Epilepsy Challenge is simple - to walk or run 45km over the course of one week (22nd to the 28th of September) to represent the 45,000 people living with epilepsy in Ireland.
The 45 for Epilepsy Challenge is also a fundraiser. Participants get a fundraising page automatically created from them, and can be sponsored by families, friends, and colleagues. Together, we want to raise €45,000 – are you in?
How will the money I raise help people with epilepsy?
With the support of people like you, we can continue to provide critical services and supports to people and families living with epilepsy. You are helping achieve a vision of a world where no person’s life is limited by epilepsy.
Your support ensures that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of 11 Community Resource Officers. You ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You are helping fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.
