Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
This March, I'm walking and raising funds to support people living with epilepsy, and their families.
Epilepsy is characterised by a discharge of electrical energy in the brain, but the way this affects each person is unique. With your help, Epilepsy Ireland can provide support tailored to the needs of each person and family living with epilepsy.
Your support will ensure that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of 11 Community Resource Officers. You will ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You will help fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.
I hope you can help me by making a donation. Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely and are received directly by Epilepsy Ireland.

Story
Sunday 1st MarLast year, my mom had one of the most traumatic seizures I’ve ever witnessed. She fell, split her head open, and for a moment she was completely unresponsive. I will never forget the fear I felt running to get a defibrillator, not knowing what was happening or how it would end. It was me, my dad, and my brother who were home at the time and helped first-hand with what we could while we waited for first responders to arrive. It was one of the scariest moments of my life. That experience is a huge part of why I’m walking this March — to raise awareness, support, and funding for epilepsy, so families like mine feel less alone in those terrifying moments.
Thank you for your support and donations for this amazing cause! that effects so many people and you wouldn’t even know until your put into a serious situation where you have no other option but to help and support that said person and it comes out of nowhere sometimes no tell when it’s happening like my mom there was no warning she just fell.
Reason why I signed up
Sunday 1st MarI signed up to walk this March for epilepsy because it’s something that has touched my life so personally. My mom lives with epilepsy, and I’ve seen both the strength it takes and the challenges it brings. I also work with special educational needs children, and some of the incredible kids I support live with epilepsy too. Seeing it both at home and in my job has given me a deeper understanding of how important awareness, support, and funding really are. Walking is my way of standing beside them all — turning love, care, and experience into action, and helping make a difference for families like ours.
