Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

This March, I'm walking and raising funds to support people living with epilepsy, and their families.

Epilepsy is characterised by a discharge of electrical energy in the brain, but the way this affects each person is unique. With your help, Epilepsy Ireland can provide support tailored to the needs of each person and family living with epilepsy.

Your support will ensure that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of 11 Community Resource Officers. You will ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You will help fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.

I hope you can help me by making a donation. Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely and are received directly by Epilepsy Ireland.

Hi guys,
The support has been nothing short of phenomenal. It's really appreciated. Going strong so far and over 50 miles. The weather has been kind so far but it won't stop me if it turns.
Thanks to you all 💜

Epilepsy awareness walk

Saturday 28th Feb
Hi lads,
I've been dealing with epilepsy since 2012. I was quite ill and required brain surgery and as a result I developed epilepsy. It is mostly under control now but it wasn't always that way. I suffered a lot of seizures that unfortunately meant I was practically house bound. I went to Beaumont Hospital for another surgery on my brain to remove scar tissue to see if I could get back to some kind of normal life. It took a while and a fair bit of medication tinkering before things settled for me. I know how this can affect people and the people that care for them. It can be mild but can also be debilitating. It can be managed in most cases but some people have their lives turned upside down.
I will keep everyone posted in my progress and how I am doing personally throughout the month of March. Hopefully I won't have any incidents to report. Thanks to everyone for donating.

Thank you to my Sponsors
