Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

This September, I'm walking and raising funds to support people living with epilepsy, and their families.

Epilepsy is characterised by seizures caused by bursts of electrical energy in the brain. But the way this affects each person is unique. With your help, Epilepsy Ireland can provide support tailored to the needs of each person and family living with epilepsy.

Your support will ensure that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of Community Resource Officers. You will ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You will help fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.

I hope you can help me by making a donation. Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely and are received directly by Epilepsy Ireland.

My 45-Mile Challenge for Epilepsy Ireland 💜

Hi everyone! My name is Jack, I’m 14 years old, and I’ve decided to take on a challenge that means a lot to me — I’m walking 45 miles to raise money for Epilepsy Ireland.

I wanted to do something positive to help raise awareness and support people and families affected by epilepsy. Epilepsy can have a huge impact on people’s lives, and I want to do my part to help.

Walking 45 miles is going to be a big challenge, but I’m determined to keep going and finish it. There will definitely be days when my legs are tired and I don’t feel like walking, but I’ll remind myself why I started and who I’m doing it for.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference and will motivate me to keep going. I’d really appreciate any support, whether that’s donating, sharing my fundraiser, or simply cheering me on along the way.

Thank you so much to everyone who supports me on my 45-mile challenge for Epilepsy Ireland. 💜

Let’s get walking! 🚶‍♂️💜

💜 MY 45 MILE CHALLENGE FOR EPILEPSY IRELAND 💜

Hi everyone! 👋 My name is Jack Dargan, I’m 14 years old, and I’ve decided to take on a 45-mile challenge to raise money for Epilepsy Ireland. 🚶‍♂️💜

Epilepsy is something that means a lot to me personally, as my mam has epilepsy, so I wanted to do something to help raise awareness and hopefully raise as much money as possible for a charity that supports people and families affected by epilepsy.

It’s going to be a big challenge, but I’m determined to complete all 45 miles! 💪🔥

Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to me and would help me get closer to my fundraising goal. ❤️

If you could share this post as well, that would be a massive help!

Thank you so much to everyone who supports me on this challenge. 💜

45 MILES. ONE BIG CHALLENGE. 💜

💜 My Journey to Raise Awareness for Epilepsy

Hi everyone,

My name is Jack Dargan, and I’m 14 years old. I’ve decided to take on a challenge to help raise as much money and awareness as I can for epilepsy.

Epilepsy is something that is very close to my heart because my ma has epilepsy. Seeing someone you love live with epilepsy has made me realise how much it can affect not only the person with the condition, but their whole family too.

I wanted to do something positive to help. Even though I’m only 14, I believe that every little bit can make a difference. My goal is to raise as much money as possible to support people living with epilepsy, their families, and organisations working to improve awareness, support and research.

I’m hoping that people will get behind me and support my fundraising journey. Every donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to me and my family.

I’m doing this for my ma, for everyone living with epilepsy, and for all the families who deal with it every day.

💜 Please support me, share my story, and help me raise as much money as possible.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can give.

Jack Dargan, age 14 💜
