Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
This March, I'm walking and raising funds to support people living with epilepsy, and their families.
Epilepsy is characterised by a discharge of electrical energy in the brain, but the way this affects each person is unique. With your help, Epilepsy Ireland can provide support tailored to the needs of each person and family living with epilepsy.
Your support will ensure that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of 11 Community Resource Officers. You will ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You will help fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.
I hope you can help me by making a donation. Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely and are received directly by Epilepsy Ireland.

35 miles done! 🚶♂️
Thursday 12th Mar Reached 35 miles and only on day 12! Really enjoying the walks and the head space it gives me. Peter is going through a tough time with time seizures so regular sleep is rare! Thanks again for all the donations, real inspiration to keep going!
Week 1 ✅
Saturday 7th Mar Week 1 done and up to 21 miles! Thanks to everyone who has donated, you have inspired me to push harder. Walking is helping clear the mind and an added benefit is I’m done a few lbs! My son Peter is still having seizures and we are trying to adjust his medication, but all your kind donations will help epilepsy Ireland to continue with advocacy and research! We live in hope!
Thanks!
Monday 2nd Mar Day 2 done and just wanted to thank everyone for donating, it’s amazing to see how people support each other and are willing to help! It’s heartwarming and encourages me to keep going! Thanks again!
Day1- challenge accepted
Sunday 1st Mar Started the March walking challenge today, my son Peter has Lennox gastaut syndrome, which is a medication resistant form of epilepsy, he has multiple seizures daily and has done since he was 18 months old, he is now 10! Most occur at night, so as you can expect we don’t get a great nights sleep. Walking helps clear my mind and allow me to get some exercise in, so thought I would help raise money for Epilepsy Ireland while doing it! Epilepsy Ireland are great advocates for epilepsy patients, help with advice and continue to seek improvements for Peter and other epileptic patients. Please help if you can, we really appreciate it!Thank you to my Sponsors
