Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
This September, I'm walking and raising funds to support people living with epilepsy, and their families.
Epilepsy is characterised by seizures caused by bursts of electrical energy in the brain. But the way this affects each person is unique. With your help, Epilepsy Ireland can provide support tailored to the needs of each person and family living with epilepsy.
Your support will ensure that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of Community Resource Officers. You will ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You will help fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.
I hope you can help me by making a donation. Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely and are received directly by Epilepsy Ireland.

Our Story
Saturday 8th AugOur Story.
In February this year, our world changed when our 7-year-old son Cillian had his first seizure completely out of the blue. What followed was one of the most frightening experiences of our lives, including ambulance journeys, ICU and lots of tests and uncertainty.
Just over 2 weeks later, Cillian had a second seizure at home admitted back to hospital and not long afterwards he was diagnosed with epilepsy.
Cillian has taken everything that has happened in his stride. He is now 8, on daily medication and, most importantly, back to being his happy, funny, energetic little self. ❤️
Before Cillian’s diagnosis, epilepsy was something we knew very little about. We now know just how much support, information and awareness matter to families when they suddenly find themselves navigating this new world.
That’s why this September I’m taking on the 60 Mile Challenge for Epilepsy Ireland in honour of Cillian.
Every mile will be for him, and for all the other children and families living with epilepsy.
If you would like to sponsor me, no matter how small the amount, we would be incredibly grateful. Thank you so much for supporting Cillian and Epilepsy Ireland.
60 miles. One very special little boy. One very proud mummy and daddy. 🙏🏻❤️
