Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

This March, I'm walking and raising funds to support people living with epilepsy, and their families.

Epilepsy is characterised by a discharge of electrical energy in the brain, but the way this affects each person is unique. With your help, Epilepsy Ireland can provide support tailored to the needs of each person and family living with epilepsy.

Your support will ensure that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of 11 Community Resource Officers. You will ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You will help fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.

I hope you can help me by making a donation. Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely and are received directly by Epilepsy Ireland.

My Updates

100 miles for Epilepsy Ireland

Thursday 12th Feb

Hello everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I’ve decided to take on this challenge to walk/run 100 miles in March for Epilepsy Ireland.

As some close friends and family know our beautiful, kind and resilient little girl Lydia was diagnosed with epilepsy age 4. She had her first tonic clonic seizure at the age of 16 months

& since then she has taken hospital visits, investigations & procedures in her stride. Lydia continues to greet everyone with her infectious smile no matter what she has been through and once she meets you once, your face will not be forgotten.

We are so grateful for the amazing support she has received in school and Epilepsy Ireland have been so helpful with the training and education they provide to people living with epilepsy and their families. For us as parents being on such high alert all the time, we have benefited speaking to other parents through Epilepsy Ireland and hearing the wonderful stories of people living a normal life with seizures under control. This is just a small way I can help raise funds for such an amazing cause.

Thank you so much again, any amount is greatly appreciated.

Thank you to my Sponsors
