Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

This March, I'm walking and raising funds to support people living with epilepsy, and their families.

Epilepsy is characterised by a discharge of electrical energy in the brain, but the way this affects each person is unique. With your help, Epilepsy Ireland can provide support tailored to the needs of each person and family living with epilepsy.

Your support will ensure that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of 11 Community Resource Officers. You will ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You will help fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.

I hope you can help me by making a donation. Simply click the Donate button. All donations are processed securely and are received directly by Epilepsy Ireland.

My Updates

Here’s to embracing this journey, one day at a time. 💜✨

Monday 9th Feb
In 2025, I received a diagnosis that turned my world upside down: epilepsy. At 35,  coming to terms with this reality has been one of the hardest challenges I’ve faced. The fear of having a seizure looms over me, and it’s an unsettling experience to navigate through everyday life.

Each outing becomes a careful consideration—ensuring those around me know how to assist if needed, keeping my seizure pen close at hand, and managing the anxiety that often accompanies these moments. It’s not just my personal struggle; it affects my loved ones too. The uncertainty of what the future holds fills our hearts with worry, but I refuse to let fear define me.

I want to remind everyone that it’s okay to be vulnerable. It's okay to struggle. But in every challenge, there’s a silver lining. Sharing my journey is part of my healing process, and if I can help even one person feel less alone, then it’s worth it. 💜💜
