This September, I'm walking and raising funds to support people living with epilepsy, and their families.
Epilepsy is characterised by seizures caused by bursts of electrical energy in the brain. But the way this affects each person is unique. With your help, Epilepsy Ireland can provide support tailored to the needs of each person and family living with epilepsy.
Your support will ensure that people with epilepsy and their families receive the information, advice, and support they need through a network of Community Resource Officers. You will ensure public awareness of epilepsy is improved and stigma and misunderstanding is alleviated. You will help fund vital research projects to find new ways to manage and treat epilepsy and reduce its impact on people’s lives.

My reason for this fundraiser
Monday 14th Sep After having my very first seizure in February this year and been diagnosed a short while after with epilepsy which has been a life changer for me enticed me to do this fundraiser..we lost our beautiful Mom 29 years ago in her sleep over this illnesses also .
